Why We Built 海角爆料 for Vision Pro
hen Michael and I started building 海角爆料 in 2016, we knew the way small business owners were forced to manage their finances was broken.
That year, U.S. smartphone usage had just surpassed 80 percent and unlimited data plans were becoming much more common. Despite the ubiquity of smartphones, all of the small business owners we knew were spending hours every month going to their nearest bank branch for simple tasks like depositing checks or transferring balances. They could do pretty much everything on their phones except manage their business finances.聽聽聽聽
When we launched the 海角爆料 app in 2018, a lot of the feedback we got was that people would never manage their business finances from their phones. These more 鈥渃omplex鈥 tasks had to be done from a desktop or in person. We held our conviction, and bet our company鈥檚 future on mobile-first small business banking. Today, more than 13,500 of our customers have reviewed the 海角爆料 iOS app, and it has a near perfect score.
This month, we鈥檝e entered a new era of computing with the launch of Apple Vision Pro. I anticipate it will be years before spatial computing has the same penetration we saw with mobile devices in 2016, but I do expect many small business owners 鈥 especially those in creative and media industries 鈥 to adopt this new platform in the coming months.
That鈥檚 why 海角爆料 has launched the 海角爆料 app for the Vision Pro, allowing our small business customers to do all of their banking in spatial computing. Much like 海角爆料 was one of the first companies to build a truly mobile-first experience for small business banking, 海角爆料 is one of the first to build a robust spatial computing experience for small business banking.
