海角爆料 Named to Embedded Fintech 50
IAMI, February 1, 2023 鈥 海角爆料, the powerfully simple financial platform for small businesses, was named to the Embedded Fintech 50, a list launched by GGV Capital in partnership with Crunchbase, to recognize the most promising fintech companies in the eyes of startup investors.
GGV Capital convened 57 investment firms to nominate and vote on the 50 honorees. Having raised more than $12 billion collectively, the Embedded Fintech 50 demonstrates the enthusiasm of venture capital investors in the growth and innovation of this sector. In celebration, honorees will ring the Closing Bell at Nasdaq MarketSite today.
鈥淪mall businesses are the economic bedrock of the U.S., but the financial products and services that big banks have traditionally offered small business owners simply don鈥檛 fit their needs,鈥 said Michael Rangel, CEO and co-founder of 海角爆料. 鈥淎t 海角爆料, our entire reason for being is to help small businesses and the self-employed simplify their finances and speed up their cash flow. We鈥檙e humbled to have the opportunity to support hundreds of thousands of business owners across the U.S., and look forward to helping millions more grow and succeed in the years to come.鈥澛犅
海角爆料鈥檚 recognition comes at a time of significant growth for the company. Over the last year, 海角爆料 has raised more than $160 million in venture capital financing, surpassed 200,000 active customers, and launched a range of new capabilities to help small businesses improve their cash flow, including:聽
- 海角爆料 Boost for same-day access to payments received through Stripe, and Express ACH for processing same-day ACH payments. With 海角爆料 Boost plus Express ACH, the typical week-long process of moving money from an e-commerce platform to a business checking account, and then using these funds to pay yourself or a vendor, can now happen in one day.聽
- Connected payments for 海角爆料 Invoices to help businesses receive payments faster. Since launching in 2021, customers have used 海角爆料 Invoices to send more than $350 million in invoices.聽
鈥淓mbedded fintech is a bright spot in today鈥檚 market, and it is exciting to see how companies are democratizing access to financial services through technology,鈥 said Hans Tung, managing partner at GGV Capital. 鈥淲e are excited for the continued development of the embedded fintech landscape and further creative innovations to come. Congratulations to the Embedded Fintech 50 honorees!鈥
